Shania Twain, original name Eilleen Regina Edwards, (born on August 28th, 1965 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada), Canadian musician who through her blend of pop and country tunes made her one of the most well-known pop artists of the late 1990s. Her music talent made her famous in her hometown and she was often invited to perform at radio stations and clubs. Prior to signing with Mercury, she was unable to establish herself in the music business. The singer achieved success with her second album, 'The Woman In Me. Her second album, 'The Woman in Me', was a multi-platinum. It also signaled the debut of a new star in country music. Twain performed a residency show entitled 'Shania, Still the One' from 2012 until 2014. It was held in the Caesars Palace’ in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the show, it was revealed that she was working on her new album. In the following year, she went to a concert after 11 years. Shania Twain is not only one of the most popular country artists around the globe however, she is also a talented writer who has written her own songs, such as "You're still the one", "The Woman in Me," and "I'm Gonna Getcha Good." She's an amazing musician who also happens to be the best selling female country singer of all time. She is a true legendary female singer, with five Grammy Awards and an album total of over 82 million copies that were sold globally.
