Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (Persian name: ahw jhnswz shihy born on January 10, 1980) is professionally known as Sarah Shahi (sr shhy),[1] is an American actress. She was the actress who was Carmen in The L Word 2008, Kate Reed in USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011–2012), and Sameen Shaw in CBS's crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. She also played the main character, Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life and Alias in supporting roles. [4] In 2018, she was a part of the TV series Reverie. She played a recurring role on City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019, and she also starred in seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo who was her love interest. Shahi was married to actor Steve Howey on February 7, 2009, in Las Vegas. She gave birth to her first child in July 2009 in an at-home waterbirth. In January 2015, she announced that she was pregnant with twins. A son and daughter were born at her home in March. Shahi and Howey filed for divorce in May 2020. Their divorce was finally finalized in January 2021. Shahi began to date Adam Demos, an Australian actor, when they met in 2020's filming of Sex/Life. [43] Shahi and Demos first met during the makeup trailer. They shared some similar passions. Shahi told People magazine, "Well, it's a pretty tall glass of water." Adam was the first time I met Adam. I was completely by his charisma. [44]
