AJ Michalka Biography

Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka (born on April 10 in 1991) commonly referred to simply AJ is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. The model was in the past prior becoming an actress, and is known best as one half of the duo Aly and AJ (formerly 78Violet) with her sister Aly Michalka. AJ recorded the theme song and music video accompanying it for the film Secretariat that was entitled "It's who You Are." In the film Grace Unplugged, she also released a single and a music video titled "All I've ever Needed". After two seasons as a recurring character on ABC's sitcom The Goldbergs, she was made a regular character on the show's third season. Michalka voices the character, Stevonnie in Steven Universe, a fusion of the protagonist Steven and his best friend Connie. She and her sister filmed untitled drama in Laurel Canyon in California, July 14, 2014. Stephen Ringer, Aly's husband directed the film and also wrote the script. Michalka was among the co-producers of the film, with her sister and Ringer as well as participating in the casting process. The film, Weepah way for Now, was to premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival in May of 2015. In June of 2016, the film was released on DVD and iTunes.

Serinda Swan is a Canadian actress, model and activist who is best known for her roles as Erica Reed in the A&E series 'Breakout Kings', as Paige Arkin in the USA Network series 'Graceland', and as Jenny Cooper in the CBC series 'Coroner'.
